Perhaps LM's title might be an inappropriate use of words but it accurately sums up the predicament Saudi blogger Hamza Kashgari faces after his insult and blasphemy towards Prophet Muhammad (saw)
LM is not going to beat around the Bush with platitudes trying to establish what on earth was in Kashgari's mind or try to excuse an evident and obvious Apostasy.
However, where the man has repented although not sufficiently in the mind of Sheikh Nasser Al Omar who wants his head LM thinks back to the meaning of the words "Bismillah ir-Rahman ir-Rahim" (in the name of God, the merciful and compassionate). Mercy and compassion that is what the Quran says and what we pray Allah swt will be towards us on the day of judgement so can we as Muslims not also be merciful and compassionate when implementing justice which is why I link to the Petition site to stop his execution and pray that Allah swt rightly guides this individual to the true path.

A mind poluted by islam cannot understand Orwell, it cannot comprehend freedom, it cannot practice democracy. It cannot create a healthy progressive society. Truly, a mind poluted by islam ceases to be the mind of a human being, no longer due the consideration one would give a Human Being.
