Iceland Recognises Palestine

Iceland becomes the first country in Western Europe to recognise Palestine as an independent state.

The Icelandic Parliament passed a motion supporting a resolution recognising Palestine as both Independent and sovereign based on pre 1967 borders.

LM hopes this recognition will be the first of many other European countries who follow suit as the momentum grows into an unstoppable tide although it goes without saying the Israelite Lobby will be working overtime to prevent the inevitable birth of Palestine.

Police Caught Spying on Muslims in UK Mosques

Here we go again with the latest news that undercover Police have themselves been nabbed posing as Muslims at Mosques in Manchester spying on the Muslim community.

While it would have been great news if the Officers actually learned about Islam and reverted in reality it goes without saying that this has probably destroyed any semblance of partnership working between Muslims and the Police in Manchester.

LM has often highlighted examples in the US where the FBI have not just been spying on Muslims in Mosques but actually appear to be engaged in actively encouraging extremism. Clearly the FBI and our Spooks work closely so one has to wonder who gave the order to send Non Muslims into Mosques and where the idea came from. Make no mistake this is not an isolated example, remember the example of Birmingham Police erecting cameras to spy on Muslims.

Despite my and community anger at the spying and desecrating the sanctity of a Mosque we as Muslims nevertheless have our own responsibility towards rooting out the fruitcakes who yes do occasionally use the sanctity of a Mosque to plot their various outrages. I'm reminded about speaking to an Imam the other day who told me how he was blissfully unaware that the usual crowd of Salafis and Wahabis were plotting and planning to overthrow the management committee of a Mosque until they were tipped off by undercover Police.

LM is in no doubt we have a tiny number of seriously deranged nutters in our community who should they be successful in carrying out further outrages ultimately it will be we normal Muslims who suffer the backlash as we have already endured in this post 9/11 and 7/7 world. However, the approach needs to be sensitive, discreet, and respectful allowing us normal Muslims to also hunt down the Munafiqs because as in the case of 7/7 those sick Terrorists proved when blowing up innocent civilians Muslim and Non Muslim in my great city of London they had long deviated from the true path of Islam.

The 2011 list of "most influential Muslims in the world" is out with as usual Saudi crook King Abdullah at the top and bizarrely Morocco's King Mohammad second.

The list is a regular annual occurrence which I wrote about last year. According to its Chief Editor Abdallah Schiefler a Professor at the American University in Cairo the list is drawn up on the basis of what impact the leaders have on the Muslim World. On that basis LM has no idea how Turkey's Erdogan the true leader of the Muslim World has slipped from 2 to 3 or why LM does not make the top 10 although the Wahabis are happy with their man at number 1.

In addition, cannot understand how my favourite Blue Peter presenter Konnie Huq does not make the list or how about the likes of Tamsin Lucia Khan (Warning Graphic Content). My rather frivolous attempted point (I'm feeling humorous today) is seriously, women seem to be lacking from the list although I do think the likes of Ghida Fakhry who works for Al Jazeera as well as Maryam Nemazee now working for Bloomberg should be on the list as role models for successful Muslim Sisters as well as Salma Yaqoob.

The Rise of Political Islam Is Good For Democracy

LM over the weekend tweeted an excellent Guardian article by Wadah Khanfar the former Head of Al Jazeera who argues the rise of Political Islam is good for democracy and stability.

I have little to add to the article which says it all however, it is interesting to note how the Israelites are increasingly beginning to take fright about a democratic model sweeping the Arab Muslim world something I wrote about previously here and here.

With news that the revolution is now spreading to Kuwait, a country ruled by the Al Sabah crooks, LM prays finally and ultimately the toppling of the Wahabi crooks in Saudi here and here is not far away inshallah.

The Labour Party have moved the writ for the Feltham and Heston Bye Election in West London so attention turns to who will be their candidate.

LM has written previously here here and here about Labour Party stitch ups when selecting candidates for bye elections so beware of Norma Stephenson and the NEC trying to do the same again. Afzal Khan was sidelined in Oldham despite being the best candidate while in Leicester South yet another white Establishment candidate Jonathan Ashworth and friend of the Millibands was imposed.

In Feltham the early signs don't look encouraging with Labour announcing a "quickfire selection" which is of course code for another stitch up while Lab List outlines the early favourites including Seema Malhotra. Malhotra is an interesting candidate who recently wrote about her support for recognising Palestine as well as being "fascinated" by Islamic Finance although Sky News seem to think Dawn Bulter may also throw her hat in the ring.

Whoever the final candidate is LM hopes finally the Labour NEC take into account the significant BME vote in this constituency which includes a sizable Muslim, Sikh and Hindu vote who between them account for 30% of the Vote.

Muslim Teacher Sabir Hussain Jailed for assaulting Pupils in a Mosque

Sabir Hussain a Pakistani Islamic Teacher was Jailed after being found guilty of kicking and slapping children in a Mosque up in Bradistan.

As far as LM is concerned while I welcome the judgement lets be perfectly clear as many British Pakistanis up North will tell you this is probably the tip of the iceberg with numerous unreported similar incidents going on for decades.

What I also found revealing was how we as a society can allow child abusing cretins like Hussain, with the requisite beard, who I wrote about previously, into this country yet despite arriving here in 1967 he still needed an interpreter in court to understand the proceedings.

Lets hope this is wake up call for all British Pakistanis and the rest of the Muslim community to aggressively challenge unacceptable abuse towards our children and while I offer a hijab tip to Tanzeen Ahmad for bravely bringing this abuse out into the open lets also accept that small but nevertheless significant changes appear to be underway with the establishment of modern Madrassas in Bradistan.

Bradford Council Scraps Leaflets Blaming Muslims for Litter

Bradistan Council has hilariously scrapped 16,000 leaflets telling only Muslims to stop dropping litter.

The Labour Council thought it appropriate to invoke the Koran by telling Muslims to not make a mess of the City because presumably in their strange minds it is Muslims that are often to be seen stumbling out of Pubs after Happy Hour Puking all over the streets.

LM often has a go at the Brothers up North but for crying out load the nutter who was responsible for the leaflet should thank his lucky stars that they were not delivered or he and the Council could have been facing a charge of inciting Religious Hatred.

Turkey: Leader of the Muslim World

My regular readers will know that as far as LM is concerned Turkey under the outstanding leadership of Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Abdullah Gul has assumed leadership of the Muslim World.

Turkey's President, Abdullah Gul is in London on a State Visit and has given a number of Interviews here and here explaining the direction of travel this democratic Muslim Giant will be taking which has repercussions for the entire World. Gul, managed to get Liz to have Halal on the Menu at a State banquet, which has got the Corgis fuming and one can only wonder what Greek Phil must have been thinking, having a halal dinner with a Muslim Turk.

Interestingly, the rise of Turkey economically and Politically, appears to have tacit approval from an unlikely source in the Torygraph who accurately describe Turkey as an example to the Muslim World. LM omits to mention the rise of Turkey military because as the Greeks can testify it has always been the most powerful Muslim military force in the World unlike the rest of the Paper Tigers and Dictators we sadly have.

Turkey played a leading role holding the Israelite Pirates to account over the Flotilla Massacre which provided considerable publicity and shamed the other Muslim puppet states however, it is the lower profile but equally important work in Africa and Bosnia that LM wishes to also highlight.

While Muslim Leaders are either killing their own citizens or pilfering the state coffers through rampant corruption, the Turkish PM Erdogan along with his wife showed true Muslim leadership qualities by offering Fatiha at the 15th anniversary of the Srebinica Genocide. In addition, during the recent and latest famine tragedy in the Horn of Africa it was again Turkey's PM who travelled to Somalia visiting the refugee camps and hospitals drawing the world and in particular the Muslim worlds attention to the Crisis. Turkey also called for an emergency OIC meeting to tackle the famine crisis during the month of Ramadhan because as their FM put it " we want to meet the needs of our African Brothers in Ramadan".

Hijab Tip to the outstanding Muslim leadership of Turkey and to all Turkish Brothers and Sisters, you should continue to be proud of your faith, country and current leadership who have correctly ensured Turkey focus on being a first rate Islamic Country rather than a second rate European one.

Tories set to establish the UK's First Curry College

While I accept this sounds like an April 1 joke however, seriously a Tory politician whose surname is Pickles is set to establish a Curry College to train UK nationals in making Pakoras and Onion Bhajhis.

Apparently due to the deep cuts in Immigration which has left us at the mercy of EDL chavs trying to make a decent Curry, the Govt are rightly worried that with Englishmen increasingly unable to obtain their fundamental human right of a decent Prawn Vindaloo urgent action needs to be taken.

Forget about an Englishman's home being his castle, Curry and in particular a decent Chicken Tikka Masala is now the only characteristic we use to define Englishmen so no wonder the Tories are beginning to realise that stopping decent Curry Chefs from the Indian Subcontinent has been a major mistake.

Thanks to the Tories we now have to rely on dysfunctional moronic Chavs going to a college to make a wonder dish that Muslims are instinctively experts on. Just one further reason if needed to get rid of this racist Govt in order to restore our national dish of Curry.

LM considers this to be such a serious issue requiring a national debate about restoring our right to a decent Indian that I'm thinking of establishing a Political Party whose sole manifesto commitment will be to ensure a decent supply of authentic Indian, Pakistani and Bangladeshi Chefs to reinstate our national dish throughout the Curry Houses of the land.

The Muslim Leadership Council

The Tories along with their Lib Dem sidekicks have apparently come up with a new approach to dealing with Muslims called the Muslim Leadership Council (MLC) which will form the centerpiece of a new Coalition Integration Policy.

LM can here the concerted groan amongst Muslims as yet another patronising self serving body established by racist Tories begins its work of dividing Muslims by employing the usual array of publicity seekers and sell outs.

Why any Muslim in his or her right mind would want to work for an Organisation that will in due course stand for the Muslim Lepers Council in our community is beyond me.  LM understands the Politics behind its establishment, The Tories did not get an overall majority because a growing Muslim political demographic refused to vote for them so they need to convey an impression of engagement while in reality treating us as second class citizens.

LM gives the MLC a maximum of about two years to trot out the usual establishment narrative before this miserable organisation suffers the same fate of an equally miserable Govt - Political oblivion.

British Muslims are More Patriotic Than Other British People

A poll by Demos found that 83% of British Muslims agreed with the statement, " I am proud to be a British Citizen", compared to 79% of other Brits who also agreed.

LM also agrees with the statement and feels proud to be a Brit although you wont find coverage of this poll on any mainstream broadcast news outlet. However, not only have the Daily Mail covered this story so have the Sun.

Despite Wars against Muslims, attacks on our civil liberties and hatred by the EDL sponsored of course by the Israelites, British Muslims are more patriotic and more optimistic about the country's future. The rest of society can perhaps take a leaf out of the example we are setting by simply getting on with life despite the hardship exemplified by Tariq Jahan after the outrage in Birmingham during the riots when 3 Muslims were murdered.

Pakistan Bans Rude Text Messages

The Pakistan Telecom Watchdog has banned 1500 "rude words" and demanded Mobile phone operators block all the "rude words" from being sent in any text message.

Considering this is Pakistan and officials banning the words probably cant speak or understand a word of English, LM wonders if perhaps the bureaucratic geeks have got their priorities slightly wrong.

While Pornistan does occasionally misbehave and promoting the exports of Alcohol might be unwise for an "Islamic Republic" I suggest ordinary Pakistanis and the World would sleep easier if even more offensive and obnoxious words like Zardari, Bhutto, and Musharaf were banned along with all the other crooks who have driven that country to the brink of economic, political and cultural bankruptcy.

Benetton Must Apologise to Catholics and Muslims For Picture of Pope Kissing Sheikh of Al Azhar

Bennetton the Italian clothing company should apologise for a disgraceful digitally enhanced publicity shot of the Pope kissing Sheikh of Al Azhar Mohammed Ahmed Al Tayeb which I reproduce reluctantly as evidence of the disgusting outrage.

While Bennetton have a noble past in various well meaning charitable publicity campaigns a picture of two leading religious individuals in the world kissing each other on the lips in a distorted picture is deception and flagrant insensitivity towards Islam and Catholicism. As the Independent point out this is unlikely to revive the flagging fortunes of Bennetton.

Many will take the view that this is all a bit tongue in cheek (no pun intended) however, in practice it is a violation of the Pope and Sheikh of Al Azhar along with the wider Catholic and Muslim community which is why I applaud the Vatican for taking such strong and understandable exception.

Muslim Graduate "Beaten By Racist Police in Birmingham"

A Muslim Graduate Khuram Ali Khan claims he was attacked and beaten up by Racist Police officers for possessing a cannabis joint.

Birmingham has suffered enough racial tension during the summer so needs this allegation like a hole in the head. LM has to say the picture of Police Officers abducting anyone then repeatedly kicking and punching them before dumping them on the road seems very hard to believe.

Although the Brother apparently took a hazy picture of the squad Car my first reaction was, wow he must have been smoking strong stuff to come up with a story like this but then I thought lets look forward to a swift police investigation into this serious accusation. 

Shabana Mahmood MP

Shabana Mahmood MP is one of the few Muslim women in Parliament and someone who keeps a low profile so tends to be somewhat overlooked by the mainstream media.

Shabana who had to deal with the tragic murder of 3 Muslim martyrs in her constituency during the summer riots and black evangelical Christians conspiring against her selection as the Labour Party candidate for Birmingham Ladywood comes across as a gritty down to earth Brummie Muslim sister in this interesting article about her.

LM believes role models like Shabana need to be regularly highlighted for the excellent work they do rather than the donuts in our community who get undue publicity simply because they cause controversy. Shabana as the article mentions studied law at Oxford and is now on Labour's front bench. LM wishes her well and prays for her continued success inshallah.

South African Muslims served Pork as Halal

South Africa's Muslims have understandably reacted with outrage over news that a leading meat company have been labelling Pork as Halal.

LM has written about a number of similar situations around the world after Nestle had to suspend their so called "Halal" products when it was discovered they contained Pork as well as the outrageous insensitivity of EasyJet who served Pork to their Jewish Passengers.

In this instance of South Africa the company also appear to have labelled kangaroo meat from Australia and Buffalo Meat from India as Halal despite no religious slaughter being carried out. LM is not in the least surprised that the company in question Orion have been suspended by South Africa's Muslim Judicial Council and I urge them to also get to the bottom of who else might be selling knock of swine meat as Halal.

Muslim Father in Canada "kills his 3 daughters" Because One Married a Pakistani

Muslim father of three Mohammad Shafia is charged with murdering his three daughters and first wife in part because one of them married a Pakistani.

Words cannot adequately express the disgusting and shocking nature of the horrific crimes alleged against this Afghani born creature who is alleged to have said he would not hesitate to do it again.

LM is no expert on on Afghani-Pakistani relations but did Pakistan not house millions of Afghanis when the Russians invaded and if a fellow Muslim marries another Muslim for crying out loud what is the problem, surely it does not warrant the spilling of innocent blood in this instance.

Sayeeda Warsi on "extremists" not being Muslim

LM has written extensively about Sayeeda Warsi sometimes agreeing with her and sometimes disagreeing although always respecting her achievements as a British Muslim woman.

However her latest outburst concerning the Munafiq Andy Choudary and his merry band of cutthroats not being Muslims is in my opinion a step too far. Allah (swt) decides ultimately who is or is not a Muslim not an unelected Baroness. Warsi needs to be careful about not throwing the baby out with the bathwater because some of her comments have no validity in Islam particularly when she like me is no scholar. Warsi is correct to criticise and where appropriate dismiss the actions of the freaks at MAC as being contrary to the teachings of Islam and provide evidence as well as examples however, no mere mortal has the right to finger point and claim she or he is any more a Muslim than the next person.

One only has to read my many articles about Andy and MAC to understand my disgust and loathing for everything they stand for and how their numerous provocative publicity stunts have tarnished the reputation of our beautiful faith Islam. LM does not support the Poppy however, I don't burn it, similarly I don't support foreign wars like Iraq and Afghanistan however, I aim to politically highlight the methodology required to defeat the Israelites and Neo Cons who support wars rather than simply shouting on the sidelines as a marginalised community cut off in a ghetto of political illiteracy.

What I will not do is take it upon myself to call another Muslim "Kafir" which is in effect what Warsi is calling Andy. We live in a world where Muslim happily kills Muslim, where we have divided into all manner of sects and it is about time some of us realise you like me will be judged one day for our actions in this dunya but not by Baroness Warsi.

I recall when writing about her hypocrisy in tackling "Muslim extremism" getting a number of threatening and intimidating comments presumably from her mates in the Spooks. In the best traditions of the Air Force motto you are on target when you get flak so LM will pursue vigorously an individual who appears to work for the Spooks and in the process irritate the men in suits intensely.

Tamsin Lucia Khan whose real name is Farhana but since that sounds a bit Foreign and Bangladeshi/Pakistani she changes it to fit in with her lifestyle and career. However, take a look at her website where she admits having a "special interest in security, counter-terrorism initiatives and international relations strategy". In addition "she has been involved with several counter terrorism projects with the FCO and has hosted a number of Prevent Conferences".

Make no mistake Farhana appears to have presumably been recruited by those enemies of Muslims working for the State who wish to lock us up for simply expressing an opinion like Babar Ahamd. I've written about the widely discredited spying operation aka as Prevent here and here and I'm surprised as well as disappointed that an intelligent (no Pun intended) attractive and popular Muslim celebrity decides to jump into bed with the Spooks rather than fighting our cause against the growing backdrop of bigotry and hostility we Muslims face.

Come on Sister Farhana rejoin your community and Faith by supporting and defending our causes rather than attacking them or at the very least provide us with an explanation about why you think it is appropriate to work for the Spooks and their Prevent spying operation.

Did you see the disgusting Dispatches programme last night about British Pakistani Sex gangs grooming young girls for Sex involving horrific crimes including Rape.

LM urges you to watch the programme in its entirety in this embedded link and then lets see if all those pervert defenders who are outraged at anyone mentioning Pakistan but remain silent about the horrific abuse crawl out of the woodwork again. According to research by C4 from Crown Court trials out of 46 convictions for grooming 40 were Pakistani and you tell me there is not a disturbing pattern emerging.

Tazeen Ahmad, like her previous programme on abuse towards kids did a fantastic job last night in highlighting the problem as a Northern British Pakistani one and nothing to do with Islam, something LM and others like Lord Ahmad have been saying for years here, here, here and here etc. Listen to one of the Dad's of the Pakistani's convicted and he appears to absolve his sons of responsibility (that's right two of them were at it) by blaming the mothers for allowing their girls to wear mini skirts.

What an enormous recruiter for far right groups like the EDL and BNP these sick perverts are who if living in an Islamic state with Sharia would face proper justice. Lets not forget while the EDL talk about "Islamic and Muslim communities" being responsible, LM talks about Pakistani communities and there is a massive difference between the two.

India convicts 31 Hindu fanatics over 2002 Gujrat riots

An Indian Court has finally found 31 Hindu extremist scum guilty of murdering innocent Muslims during the Gujrat riots almost 9 years ago.

India has not been slow in convicting Muslims for the train fire that sparked the riots so why did they take so long finding these Hindu fanatics guilty.

Sadly as a growing economic power Indian Hindu extremists have increasingly lost their sense of shame about how they violently treat minorities. LM finds it bemusing to say the least that a country who engage in mass murder towards Muslims, steal our land in Kashmir through brutal occupation and rape and not surprisingly become a close friend of Israel now want to obtain a seat on the UN Security Council.

LM always grew up with a view that Hindus along with Buddhists were fairly peace loving characters perhaps because I always used to see them down Oxford St singing their Hare Krishna songs. However, while it is fair to say that some elements of Hinduism ie the caste system are probably the most racist element of any faith in the world perhaps we should not be surprised by their behaviour when they hold people of their own faith in such contempt.

In this day and age great Indian writers like Aundati Roy get arrested for telling the truth on Kashmir so sadly murdering minorities in mass pogroms seems to be sadly how a great country and civilization have turned towards violence and hatred rather than the outward appearance of peace and harmony that they like to portray.

The Dutch ban on Halal and Kosher Slaughter methods

LM has previously highlighted the dangerous and ominous ban by the Nazi Dutch Government on Muslim Halal and Jewish Kosher slaughter methods.

LM compared the Dutch ban to the Nazi Kristillnacht or night of the Broken glass and it is revealing to note how the Dutch Chief Rabbi Binyamin Jacobs agrees with my drawing a Parallel between this ban and Nazism. The Chief Rabbi powerfully explains how the first thing the Nazi's did when they came to Holland was to introduce a law banning Jewish Slaughter methods under the guise of animal welfare.

LM has regularly opposed any ban on Jewish slaughter methods here and here because it is the thin end of the wedge. First Halal and Kosher, then Muslim and Jewish circumcision, then what? Muslims and Jews need to urgently unite to stop this growing tide of hatred towards our faiths before we find ourselves engulfed with yet another Holocaust if we are not careful and vigilant.

Malaysia bans "Islamic Sex Guide"

LM has written previously about the misguided and somewhat deviant group who go by the name of Malaysia's Obedient Wives Club (OWC) here and here.

The latest publicity stunt by the OWC is the publication of an "Islamic Sex guide" about how a Muslim wife should perform in the bedroom for her husband. The book has been banned by the Malaysian Govt which after Salman Rushdie and all that book banning jazz seems a little excessive particularly when all it seems to be is the Muslim equivalent of the Karma Sutra.

However, while initially very sceptical about the Malaysian OWC, LM is becoming increasingly hostile to their objectives and narrative which in their own words appears to be equating a Muslim wives responsibility with being a better sexual performer than "a first class prostitute".

Many Muslim Brothers do not need much encouragement to treat their wives's disgracefully which has nothing to do with Islam and perhaps explains the rapidly increasing divorce rate within our community. However, using words like sex goddess to describe a Muslim wife or group sex is pathetic, disgusting and demeaning to all Muslim women.

Richard Pepiatt in the Independent writes an interesting article where he focuses on some of the difficulties the record number of white British females encounter adjusting to their new faith, surroundings and cultural environment.
