Exclusive: Anger Erupts at Miliband Public Meeting

Ahmad Shahzad on final Labour shortlist for Leyton

Ahmad Shahzad the colourful chair of Labour's BAME is on the final shortlist of four in the Labour stronghold of Leyton/Wanstead a constituency in East London with a Muslim population of 20%.

London Muslim welcomes the announcement of a new US envoy to the Muslim world.

Clearly this builds on the Cairo speech and a growing recognition within US circles that a closer relationship with a billion Muslim rather than 7 million Israelites might be more beneficial and in the longer term interests of the United States.

Here in London the US ambassador in an event sadly not publicised on the US embassy website recently visited the London Central Mosque in Regent's Park continuing the trend of greater engagement.

A Muslim Bus driver in London delayed his passengers while he decided to have a pray.
